Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is a vitamin-like antioxidant that helps fight cell damaging free radicals in the body. ALA acts as an antioxidant to help neutralize cell-damaging free radicals in both the water-soluble and fat-soluble compartments in the cell. This means a more supportive antioxidant action.
